Add & Edit Users

A ShipEngine user is created by default when you sign up for a ShipEngine account. Additional users can be created for the account. Creating multiple users allows additional personnel the ability to login and see information that can only be accessed in the dashboard.

Create Users


To create additional users, follow the steps below: 

  1. Go to Account Settings.

  2. Select the Users tab.

  3. Click Add a User Account.

  4. Fill in the required information.
  5. Click Add User.

Disable Users


To disable previously created users: 

    1. Go to Account Settings.
      AccountSettings.png
    2. Select the Users tab.

    3. Click Edit for the user you would like to disable.

    4. Deselect the checkmark next to Is active user (can login).

    5. Click Save.

The disabled user will no longer be able to login to ShipEngine. To see inactive users, select the checkbox next to Show Inactive Users:

Change User Passwords


To change or update a user’s password: 

  1. Go to Account Settings.

  2. Select the Users tab.

  3. Click Edit for the user whose password needs to be changed.

  4. Enter the new password in both the Password and Confirm Password boxes.
