DPD Local (UK)

DPD Local is one of the UK's top time-sensitive carriers, providing both local and international services. This page explains how to connect your DPD Local account to ShipEngine and provides an overview of the integration's available features.

DPD Local is only available for UK-based ShipEngine accounts.

Connection Requirements:

  • A DPD Local account.

  • Your DPD Local account Username and Password.

    You MUST reset the password from your temporary login credentials to a permanent one before you connect to ShipEngine. If not, you will receive an error when trying to connect your account.

Label Requirements:

  • Contact your DPD Local Account Manager to let them know you intend to use ShipEngine and for instructions to create test labels.

  • DPD Local must approve your test labels! Failure to get approval before you start dispatching DPD Local parcels via ShipStation could result in the suspension of your account!

Connect a DPD Local Account to ShipEngine

To connect your DPD Local account to ShipEngine:

  1. Select the DPD Local tile.

    The available carriers are displayed with DPD Local highlighted.
  2. Enter your DPD Local Username and Password, then choose an Account Nickname to identify the account in ShipEngine.

  3. Click the Connect button.

DPD Label Approval

Once you have connected your account, you'll be able to select DPD Local services for shipments in ShipEngine. However, before dispatching any parcels with DPD Local labels, follow your DPD Local account manager's instructions to print test labels and get them approved! Once approved, you may begin dispatching parcels using DPD Local labels created in ShipEngine.
