Action Required: 🇳🇿 New Zealand Border Levy Changes
Effective April 1, 2026, a new NZD $2.21 (+ GST) levy applies to low-value air freight consignments entering New Zealand. This fee is separate from the 15% GST are already being collected, and it applies per package, not per item.

Shipment Requirements:
- When shipping to Europe, the following customs information is required: HS codes, description, quantity, price, weight, and tax information
Enable Commercial Invoice Generation
International shippers should contact Aramex to ensure that commercial invoice generation is enabled on your Aramex International account. This is to ensure you can generate commercial invoices when creating international shipping labels in ShipStation API.
To connect your Aramex International account in the ShipEngine dashboard:

Select the Aramex tile from the Available Carriers pop-up window.
- Enter your Aramex International Username, Password, Account Number, Account PIN, Account Entity, and Account Country Code into the corresponding fields.
- Click the Connect button.
The ShipStation API integration with Aramex International supports the following standard features:

You can add up to 3 label messages, which will appear in the Remarks section of the shipping label, separated by a comma. However, there is only one line available on the printed label for Remarks. Longer messages may be truncated.
- Aramex requires the full ship to address and customs information in order to return a rate to ShipStation API.
- Aramex International does not support 3rd-party billing.
