UPS SurePost® services provide an economic solution for residential ground delivery.
SurePost® can be used for Domestic Shipments to the 48 contiguous United States.
Before enabling this option in ShipEngine, you must first have a UPS account connected to ShipEngine. Please contact your UPS representative to ensure your contract allows SurePost® shipments.
Shipments to PO Boxes, Hawaii, Alaska, or Puerto Rico not supported
Effective 12/30/2024: UPS SurePost service will no longer deliver to PO/APO/FPO addresses, as well as shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, U.S. Territories, and U.S. Post Office Boxes™. UPS SurePost service is not available for international packages. If you have any questions, please contact your UPS representative.
To enable SurePost®:
UPS SurePost® labels will display two addresses:

The first address is the UPS SurePost® hub.

The second address is the final destination (that is, the recipient's address).
The UPS SurePost® service has a few limitations and features that other UPS services do not have.

UPS SurePost® services will only be returned when requesting UPS rates. UPS SurePost® services are not returned when rating multiple carriers.
