Return labels

Return labels are supported with the Return and Return International services. Return delivery times are D+3 for business-to-consumer returns and D+5 for small-business returns.

Shipments to Northern Ireland are identified automatically by postcode. Postcodes that start with BT are sent as Northern Ireland. Only Standard services are available for shipments to Northern Ireland.

Service levels

Express services deliver next day (D+1). and Standard services deliver in 2 days (D+2).

Troubleshooting Tips for the InPost Global Integration

Use the following solutions to resolve common issues when connecting or shipping with UPS by Worldwide Express.

Issue

How to Troubleshoot or Resolve

Unsupported Shipping Route / Destination Error

  • Cause: InPost Global currently only supports shipments within Great Britain (GB) and between Great Britain and the Isle of Man (IM).

  • Solution: Verify that both the origin and destination addresses are set to supported regions. International shipments outside GB/IM will fail.

Address Validation or APM Selection Errors

  • Cause: Automated Parcel Machine (APM) or locker pickup points require precise location codes or formatted address lines.

  • Solution: Ensure the recipient address and selected drop-off/pickup point ID match InPost's mandatory API fields. Double-check for missing postal codes or invalid characters.

Rate or Label Generation Failure

  • Cause: Missing parcel dimensions, invalid weight units, or improperly configured carrier account credentials.

  • Solution: Check that parcel weight and dimensions fall within InPost's allowed limits. Verify your InPost API credentials and account settings under Settings > Carriers > Carrier Accounts in ShipStation.
