ePost Global (formerly RR Donnelley) offers cost-effective, international consolidation services and supports merchants through customs clearance processes. With ShipEngine's ePost Global integration, you can create international shipments destined for ePost Global's 220 supported countries. ePost Global is available for shipments originating in the US.

Action Required: 🇳🇿 New Zealand Border Levy Changes

Effective April 1, 2026, a new NZD $2.21 (+ GST) levy applies to low-value air freight consignments entering New Zealand. This fee is separate from the 15% GST are already being collected, and it applies per package, not per item.

Connect ePost Global to ShipEngine

To connect your ePost Global account in the ShipEngine dashboard:

  1. Select the ePost Global tile from the Available Carriers pop-up window.

  2. Enter your ePost Global Username and Password into the corresponding fields.
  3. Click the Connect button.

Feature Description
Label Messages ShipStation API will automatically use the Order Number for Reference Field #1 for ePost Global shipping labels. If you define a value for Label Message 1, it will override the default Order Number.
Automatic Manifesting

ePost Global shipments are automatically manifested nightly. If you do not want your ePost Global shipments to be automatically manifested, you'll need to contact your ePost Global account representative and have them disable the feature.

If you need a copy of a manifest that was automatically closed, contact ePost Global to retrieve your manifest.

ePost Global Package Types

The carrier can be used to create domestic shipping labels.

The carrier can be used to create international shipping labels.

ShipStation API will submit international customs declarations electronically to the carrier.

The carrier can be used to create domestic return labels.

When an API call is made to the Rates endpoint, ShipEngine will return estimated shipping rates for the carrier based on the connected account information and shipment details.

Shipment insurance, provided by the shipment's selected carrier, can be added to the shipment in ShipStation API. This insurance would be in addition to any default coverage already provided by that carrier.

Shipping labels created for this carrier will include a tracking number that can be used to view the shipment status on the carrier's tracking website. Tracking may not be available for all shipping services.

Shipment manifests and End of Day documents are submitted electronically to the carrier by ShipEngine.

Shipment manifests and End of Day documents are generated as PDF files that can be printed along with shipping labels. Because these documents are not electronically submitted, physical copies must be provided to the carrier.

ShipEngine can print your brand logo on shipping labels from carriers that support this feature. Add your logo in the ShipEngine Dashboard.

ShipEngine can include additional information on a shipping label that is specified in the label request, if supported by the carrier.

Multi-Package Shipping

You can connect this carrier to ShipStation API multiple times using different accounts and choose which account will be used to create each shipment.

ePost Global Integration Notes

  • To display estimated rates, contact your ePost Global account representative and have them load your rate table into your account. Once your rate table is loaded, contact our support team to have estimated rates enabled.
  • Shipments to Russia are not available with ShipStation API's ePost Global integration.
