Loomis Express

Loomis Express offers domestic ground and next-day delivery services for shipments in Canada. In addition to label creation, ShipEngine's integration with Loomis Express also supports getting rates, electronic manifesting, and tracking.

Loomis Express Integration Requirements

Connection Requirements:

  • An active account with Loomis Express.

  • Your Loomis Express username, password, and account number.

API Credentials

You must contact the Loomis Express Servicedesk if you need to acquire API credentials at servicedesk@loomis-express.com.

Other Requirements

  • Manifesting is required to enable the label to be viewed in tracking and for billing.

  • Return Authorization Number is a mandatory shipment reference. You must input to generate an E-Return.

Connect Loomis Express to ShipEngine

To connect your Loomis Express account in the ShipEngine dashboard:

  1. Select the Loomis Express tile from the Available Carriers pop-up window.

  2. Enter your Loomis Express User ID, Password, and Account Number into the corresponding fields.

  3. Click the Connect button.

Shipment manifests and End of Day documents are generated as PDF files that can be printed along with shipping labels. Because these documents are not electronically submitted, physical copies must be provided to the carrier.

ShipEngine can print your brand logo on shipping labels from carriers that support this feature. Add your logo in the ShipEngine Dashboard.

ShipEngine can include additional information on a shipping label that is specified in the label request, if supported by the carrier.

Multi-Package Shipping

You can connect this carrier integration to ShipEngine multiple times using different account information, and choose which account will be used to create each shipment.

Additional Details About the Loomis Integration

  • Dangerous Goods and Chain of Signature shipments are not eligible for returns.

  • You entered your Loomis credentials or information incorrectly.

  • You do not have permission to use a third-party platform on your Loomis account.

You should try to re-enter your Loomis credentials or information incorrectly. If this does not resolve your issue, contact Loomis directly to verify that you have permission or request permission to use a third-party platform on your account.
