Add and Edit Users

A ShipEngine user is created by default when you sign up for a ShipEngine account, but you can also create additional users. Creating multiple users allows additional personnel to log in and see information that can only be accessed in the dashboard.

Create Users

To create additional ShipEngine users:

  1. Click the Add User button.

  2. Enter the following required information:

    • Username

    • Full Name

    • Email

  3. Click Save Changes.

Disable Users

To disable a previously created user:

  1. Click the Edit link for the user you would like to disable.

  2. Toggle the Activate user (can log in) option off.

  3. Click Save Changes.

The disabled user will no longer be able to log into ShipEngine.

Toggle the Show Inactive option on at the top of the Users page to view disabled users.

Change User Passwords

To change or update a user’s password:

  1. Click the Edit link for the user whose password needs to be changed.

  2. Enter the new password in both the Password and Confirm Password fields.
